This year’s run brought many heartwarming moments, one of which was a proud achievement for our Anaya’s Care family. Our very own Hiraya, just two years old, won the award for the youngest runner! Hiraya’s participation was a symbol of hope, showing us that supporting a cause can begin at any age. Her enthusiasm and determination brought smiles to everyone’s faces, proving that even the youngest members of our community can inspire change.
This event held a particularly special place in our hearts as we dedicated our run to our dear friend Peter, who sadly passed away last month. Peter is a dear friend to all of us in Anaya’s Care, and his kindness, warmth, and generosity touched the lives of so many. Running in his memory was our way of honoring his legacy, and we know that his spirit was with us every step of the way. The loss of Peter was deeply felt by all of us, and this run allowed us to come together not only in remembrance but also in celebration of the life he lived and the impact he had on those around him. It was a beautiful tribute to a friend who will never be forgotten.
